Insurance and Reinsurance Broking Solutions

Trace Isys have specialised in the provision of application software and services into the Re/Insurance Broking market for nearly 20 years.

Trace Isys employs 50 staff split between client development and implementation, help desk and support, and new product development. Our current offering - TWINS - has been in live use since January 1995 and is constantly being updated either for client led developments, market requirements or technology initiatives.

The TWINS suite of products is designed to support the broking processes from enquiry and slip production to actual settlement of the account in an integrated, efficient manner. TWINS offers a flexible organisational structure allowing Brokers to manage their business individually while sharing common functions - a horizontal service supporting vertical entrepreneurial businesses. At the same time the system supports a comprehensive set of tools for reporting and monitoring activities and statistics.

Our flagship offering, TWINS Transaction Server, with its browser-based front-end slip and cover note module, TWINS e-Broking, is a single integrated environment capable of handling risk placement, premium and claim processing and the traditional IBA functions.

Acting as a single source, Trace Isys can also provide assistance on hardware procurement, operational support, implementation, training and consultancy.

The challenge for Trace Isys over the next few years is to continue to position TWINS to satisfy brokers' requirements in servicing their clients and markets. This means we must ensure that our systems adapt quickly both technically and in the face of evolving market practises. Our leading role in developing new products (e-Broking) and in meeting LMP2001 criteria demonstrates our commitment to this aim.
