Every day some of the world's largest financial institutions depend
upon Cloverleaf for mission-critical settlement of billions of dollars
worth of transactions. Our clients are regularly building more and
more of their interfaces around Cloverleaf because of its speed
and ease of development.
With Cloverleaf, internal systems can obtain messages, transactions
and other data from each other quickly and dependably, no matter
how diverse the formats used at the source and destination. Cloverleaf
also supports multiple external services including CREST, FIX, OMGEO,
TRAX and SWIFT - and Cloverleaf is one of the few products on the
market to have achieved SWIFTReady Gold accreditation for 9 consecutive
years.

The Cloverleaf engine provides facilities to define the connectivity,
routing, format definition and translation rules required. A non-invasive
EAI product, it does not need to reside on the equipment of the
source and destination systems that it connects to. This architecture
minimises the initial implementation time and also facilitates system
replacement - allowing new business applications to be introduced
more easily.
Extensibility
The Cloverleaf engine has over 25 points at which Java or Tcl scripts
can be inserted to perform custom functions. This also allows the
highly advanced message transformation capabilities of our Java-based
Transformer product to be integrated
into the message flow at any point required.
Network Monitoring
Cloverleaf incorporates powerful GUI-based, object-oriented development,
implementation and run-time monitoring tools. With Cloverleaf's
Network Monitor, it is possible to:
 |
hold and release outbound messages |
 |
start and stop engine processes and threads |
 |
display process and thread status and activity graphs |
The solution also contains a varied set of tools to monitor system
performance. This toolset provides:
 |
event reporting and logging that reports when
an event occurs and records it in an event log |
 |
operating margin monitoring with thresholding
and alerts that monitor system capacity |
 |
transaction statistics, such as the number of
transactions, occurrences, and time spent |
The message configuration and protocol information can be modified
while the system remains in operation, so that the user can start,
stop, redefine, add, drop, and/or control messages and their delivery
to and from external systems.
Cloverleaf's system administration processes enable the performance
of simultaneous tasks and can support multiple test and production
environments on a single machine. Online backups and upgrades can
be made while the system is running. Cloverleaf also supports remote
dial-in diagnostics.
Message Monitoring
As an optional add-on Cloverleaf can be integrated with our Message
Monitor product, by way of a relational database which holds
message data at the field level. This database can be updated at
multiple points during the message's route through the system, for
example to record changes in its status.
The Message Monitor user can then browse and view messages in detail
in a more meaningful and business-user-friendly way.
Any ODBC-compliant database can be used for this purpose, including
Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase. This database also supports longer-term
message persistence and archiving, being entirely separate from
the recovery database which only retains messages while they are
in transit.
